Pre Season Begins March 1

We will officially begin the Spring Pre Season on March 1st.  What this means is that those kids that are on Rangers teams will be focusing more on their team training than on their individual academy training.  Although our program works best with attending both Rangers practices and the players academy practice, we recognize that many parents need to make choices regarding your kids activities.

Rangers Practices begin January 9th

We will begin practices for the Rangers teams starting this Sunday, January 9th.  We will continue weekly practices until March, then will add a second weekly practice to get the kids ready to play this spring.  Through winter, the practices will run for 1 hour and 15 minutes.  During the first 15 minutes the kids will be working with their team captains performing their warm ups off the field.  Then, they will enter the arena to begin their tactical team practice.  During this period we will not be working on techncial skills as these are conducted during the weekl

Rangers Teams Win Kalahari Tournament

Over the Holloween weekend, both the U12 and u14 teams successfully competed and brought home tropheys from the Kalahari tournament.  The U12 team went undefeated, wining all 4 of their games.  The U14 team had all wins, except for a single tie in their route to wining the championship.

Rangers Captains announced

In the Rangers practice held last night, October 14th, Coach Hani introduced the team captains for the 2010 - 2011 soccer season.  To become a captain, the kids must embody the philosophies of the ASSA / Rangers in their character on and off the field.  They are held to a higher standard than typical players and are active in the promotion and growth of the entire Rangers program.  For a complete listing of the expectations of the team captains, we have attached the captains requirements brochure.

U12 Select Team

I watched our U12 Coed Select team Today , Sunday April 18 play at Kreager and I was happy with the way we played as a team and as individuals. Being their first game, I was happy with almost everything we did and we will build on the positives and improve the negatives.

Congratulations to everyone that played in the game.We won not because we outscored the other team but because we were trying to play the right way. We played with Pride, Passion and demonstrated Character and Integrity.
