A soccer player diet will not necessarily make him/her a better player. However, a proper diet will give the player a better chance of performing to his/her full potential. Food contains carbohydrate, protein as well as other important nutrients such as vitamins and minerals will improve the potential of the player to reach maximum level of performance.
